The screenplay by Philip Railsback, based on a New Yorker article by John Seabrook focuses on Robert Kearns and his legal battle against fo Ford Motor Company when they developed an intermittent windshield wiper based on ideas the inventor had patented.
Abraham does drive the motion that Kearns was an obsessive inventor who constantly fixated on obtaining justice for the Ford larceny.

Kinnear is very good, the court room scenes are compelling, and the afterglow is quietly strong. Was the battle worth it?
