I really like Regan's character and her family. In the last decade or so, I've choswn that more and more I've enjoyed this kind of fiction with female protagonists, most often written by female authors. Less reasonably, so is much of the sex. A Nichelle Clarke Crime Thriller. A bit too predictable for me and I could not get attached to the main character. I didn't care for this book. Love Me to Death. He's Just a Cowboy. There are a number of good things about this story-- interesting setting, strong women characters in non-traditional roles, several red herrings, a plot twist that sets up the end.
Detective Regan Pescoli sie imagined she'd be captured by the very serial killer she'd been hunting. The Nowhere Child Christian White. Her kids still are fucking terrible.
